Perhaps you are working around an injury or pre-existing condition? Been recommended by your doctor to try yoga but don't know where to begin?
1-on-1 yoga therapy sessions differ from group yoga classes in that our intention is not to teach you poses. It is to listen, assess, and offer an individualized yoga protocol that evolves with you.
YOGA THERAPY IS SPECIFIC
Each session is tailored to your specific needs. Whether you want to relieve symptoms of an illness, manage stress, build strength, or cultivate greater well-being, yoga therapy works on multiple levels to optimize your healing potential.
YOGA THERAPY IS SAFE
We'll help you modify and adjust poses to your body utilizing props, assists in alignment and modifications. You'll learn how to increase range of motion mindfully, recover from an injury with greater body awareness, and integrate this movement therapy into your daily routine.
YOGA THERAPY IS SUSTAINING
Cultivating a healthy habit of mindfulness may affect the choices you make off the yoga mat. Diet, relationships, exercise and old habits of negative self-talk may be positively affected when you practice moving, breathing and engaging more skillfully.
"Yoga Therapy restored my self-confidence, enhanced my knowledge of my body, and I simply feel great! My orthopod, who was skeptical in the use of yoga as a 'PT Tool' was amazed in the speed and completeness of my rehabilitation."
